This was a very interesting read. It made one feel like they were actually there on the scene. For a youg author this writer knows how to capture your attention and keep it. I love the flow back and forth of the characters. Anybody suffering from trying to find themselves or figure out where they belong should read this novel. It will give them a new prospective on the way they view their choices. Yeah, everything happens for a reason, but what is the reason you are not already reading this novel. You will share it with your family and friends as a great treat for entertainment.Product details

This is an astounding work of fiction like no other, definitely a must-read! I absolutely loved it and recommend it to anyone.
I'm a slow reader, so this book was just the right length for me to enjoy without it being too much of a task. That being said, the length didn't keep the novel from having a powerful message. The author really contrasts the differing viewpoints between the Muslim and American perspectives and how they came to be created. I definitely recommend this book to anyone wishing to open their minds to new points of views.
This book was great! No complaints. The story was really interesting and it's one of those books that captures you and doesn't let you go until the story's over. That also means that I was quite sad to see the story end. It's definitely worth reading!
I really enjoyed the switching points of view in the novel. It really gives both sides of an issue very relevant to society. It also displays no bias whatsoever while describing the good and the bad in both characters' narrations. The author does what many are afraid to - she tells both sides - and I appreciate that very much. A work of fiction never felt so real. This is definitely something all people should read.
This book really gets at the complexities of dealing with difference. Many struggle these days to accept others, and this book offers two narrators who are about as different as any two people could be - on the surface. The message here is that, at our core, we are all human, and we must respect that humanity in others.
This book is a quick read, but not a "beach book." It will make you think, perhaps question your opinions and beliefs. I think this would be a wonderful book for teens, even adults, who are trying to understand the conflicts that are occurring in the Middle East. It certainly offers a different perspective, a more personal touch, to these conflicts.
